Description
A delicious twist on tacos, these Whiskey Ranch Taco Ring Pockets are loaded with flavorful ingredients and wrapped in a golden, flaky crust.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1/2 cup whiskey
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 cup sliced jalapeños
1 package crescent roll dough
Sour cream for serving
Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain the fat and add the taco seasoning and whiskey. Stir until well combined.
3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Arrange the triangles in a ring shape on a baking sheet, overlapping the edges slightly.
4. Spoon the beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Top with cheese, tomatoes, and jalapeños.
5. Roll the dough over the filling, tucking the point under the ring to secure it.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
7. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with sour cream and garnish with cilantro.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add more jalapeños or mix in some hot sauce into the beef mixture. This recipe can be easily doubled for larger gatherings.
