Description

Whiskey Bacon Pretzels Egg Rolls are a crispy, savory treat that combines the flavors of smoky bacon, rich whiskey, and soft pretzel dough, perfect for parties or game days.


Ingredients

– 1 package egg roll wrappers

– 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/4 cup whiskey

– 1/4 cup chopped green onions

– 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)

– Oil for frying

– Coarse sea salt (for sprinkling)


Instructions

2. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, whiskey, and green onions.

3. 2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface with a corner facing you.

4. 3. Place 2 tablespoons of the bacon mixture in the center of the wrapper.

5. 4. Brush the edges of the wrapper with the beaten egg.

6. 5. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly to seal.

7. 6. Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).

8. 7. Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes each.

9. 8. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt before serving.


Notes

 

– Serve with a side of mustard or your favorite dipping sauce.

– Make sure the oil is hot enough to avoid soggy egg rolls.
