Description

Succulent chicken pieces wrapped in crispy bacon, marinated in a sweet and spicy BBQ sauce. Perfect for grilling on a summer day!

Ingredients

– 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

– 8 slices of bacon

– 1 cup BBQ sauce

– 2 tablespoons honey

– 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

2. 2. In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, honey, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

3. 3. Wrap each piece of chicken with a slice of bacon and secure it with a skewer.

4. 4. Brush the BBQ sauce mixture generously over the bacon-wrapped chicken.

5. 5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy.

6. 6. Remove from the grill and brush with remaining sauce. Serve hot!

Notes

– Adjust the level of heat by increasing or decreasing the cayenne pepper.

– For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the BBQ sauce mixture for a few hours before wrapping with bacon.
