Description

This Sweet and Spicy Maple Chicken Stir-Fry combines tender chicken pieces with colorful vegetables in a deliciously sticky maple sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

– 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

– 2 tablespoons maple syrup

– 1 tablespoon soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)

– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

– 1 bell pepper, sliced

– 1 cup broccoli florets

– 1 cup snap peas

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix maple syrup, soy sauce, and sriracha. Set aside.

2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Add chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

4. Add garlic, bell pepper, broccoli, and snap peas. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

5. Pour the maple sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir well to coat and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.

6. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

Feel free to customize the vegetables based on what you have on hand. This dish is also great with shrimp or tofu as a protein alternative.
