These Cajun stuffed bread twists are a delightful appetizer with a cheesy mozzarella kick, perfect for any party or snack time!
Ingredients
1 lb pizza dough
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled Cajun sausage
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder

3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle.
4. In a mixing bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, Cajun sausage, green onions, cream cheese, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
5. Spread the filling mixture evenly over the dough rectangle.
6. Cut the dough into strips, about 1 inch wide.
7. Twist each strip and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
8. Brush each twisted bread with the beaten egg wash and sprinkle with garlic powder and olive oil.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
