Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon chili paste
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
8 small corn tortillas
1 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 avocado, sliced
1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
1. Marinate the chicken thighs in soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, chili paste, garlic powder, and ground ginger for at least 30 minutes.
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Cook the marinated chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and browned.
4. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes, then slice it thinly.
5. Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
6. Assemble the tacos by placing sliced chicken on each tortilla.
7. Top with shredded cabbage, fresh cilantro, and avocado slices.
8. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
These tacos are best enjoyed fresh. You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less chili paste according to your preference.
