Description

These Spicy Honey Garlic Chicken Wings are the perfect addition to your Game Day menu. They are sticky, sweet, and packed with flavor!


Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon ginger, minced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Green onions, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. In a large bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.

3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the marinade.

4. Let the wings marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor).

5. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.

6. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack.

7. Drizzle the wings with vegetable oil.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until wings are golden and crispy.

9. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.


Notes

For extra crispiness, you can broil the wings for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.

Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
