Description
This Smoky Maple Bacon BBQ Chicken Sandwich features juicy grilled chicken, crispy bacon, and a smoky maple BBQ sauce. Perfect for summer BBQs or any gathering!
Ingredients
– 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– 4 slices of bacon
– 1 cup BBQ sauce
– 1/4 cup maple syrup
– 4 brioche buns
– 1 cup coleslaw (optional)
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
2. 2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
3. 3. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).
4. 4. While chicken is grilling, cook bacon in a skillet until crispy.
5. 5. In a small bowl, mix BBQ sauce and maple syrup together.
6. 6. Brush the BBQ sauce mixture over the grilled chicken during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
7. 7. Toast brioche buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
8. 8. Assemble the sandwich: place grilled chicken on each bun, top with crispy bacon, and add coleslaw if desired.

Notes
Feel free to adjust the sweetness of the BBQ sauce by adding more or less maple syrup. For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the BBQ sauce for a few hours before grilling.
