Description

These Savory Cream Cheese Stuffed Jalapeño Poppers are the perfect blend of spicy and creamy, making them an irresistible appetizer for any gathering!


Ingredients

6 large jalapeños

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup chopped fresh chives (optional)


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. 2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.

3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

4. 4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture.

5. 5. Place the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

6. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the jalapeños are tender and the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.

7. 7. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped chives if desired. Serve warm.


Notes

These poppers can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking. Just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from frozen.
