This Pumpkin Spice Maple Swirl Cake is a delightful blend of fall flavors, featuring a moist pumpkin cake swirled with a rich maple layer, perfect for any festive occasion.
Ingredients
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
– ½ teaspoon ground ginger
– ½ teaspoon salt
– 1 cup pumpkin puree
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– ½ cup brown sugar
– ½ cup vegetable oil
– 4 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 cup maple syrup
– 1 teaspoon maple extract
– ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

4. 3. In another bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.

7. 6. In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup and maple extract. Pour half of this mixture over the batter in the pan.

Notes
– For added flavor, consider substituting some of the all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour.
