Description

Enjoy the flavors of Oktoberfest with these delicious bratwurst sliders topped with creamy beer cheese. Perfect for parties or a cozy night in!


Ingredients

• 4 bratwurst sausages

• 8 slider buns

• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

• 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

• 1/2 cup beer (lager or ale)

• 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

• 1 teaspoon garlic powder

• 1 teaspoon onion powder

• Salt and pepper to taste

• Chopped green onions for garnish


Instructions

1. 1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add bratwurst. Simmer for 20 minutes until cooked through.

2. 2. Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat. Grill bratwurst for 5-7 minutes until browned and crispy on the outside.

3. 3. While bratwurst is grilling, prepare the beer cheese. In a medium bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, beer, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.

4. 4. Slice slider buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in the oven.

5. 5. Once bratwurst are done, slice them into bite-sized pieces and place them on the bottom half of each slider bun.

6. 6. Spoon a generous amount of beer cheese over the bratwurst.

7. 7. Top with the other half of the slider bun and garnish with chopped green onions.

8. 8. Serve warm and enjoy!


Notes

• You can add sauerkraut or pickles for extra flavor.
