Indulge in a rich and creamy milkshake infused with the flavors of maple and bourbon, topped with crispy candied bacon for a sweet and savory twist.
Ingredients
1 cup vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 oz bourbon
4 slices of bacon
1/4 cup brown sugar
Whipped cream (for topping)
Maple syrup (for drizzling)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3. Place the bacon slices on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle brown sugar over them.
4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and caramelized.
5. Remove from the oven and let cool, then chop into small pieces.
6. In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, whole milk, maple syrup, and bourbon; blend until smooth and creamy.
7. Pour the milkshake into glasses and top with whipped cream.
8. Garnish with the candied bacon pieces and a drizzle of maple syrup. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a non-alcoholic version, omit the bourbon and add extra maple syrup.
Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup as desired.
