Ingredients
4 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
2 large onions (thinly sliced)
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine honey and melted butter; set aside.
3. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
4. In a baking dish, layer the sliced onions and place the seasoned chicken on top.
5. Pour the honey-butter mixture over the chicken and onions.
6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
7. Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheese over the top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
