Description

These Loaded BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Melts are the ultimate comfort food. Juicy beef patties topped with crispy bacon, melted cheese, and zesty BBQ sauce, all served on toasted bread. Perfect for game day or a weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef

– 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

– 4 slices cheddar cheese

– 1/2 cup BBQ sauce

– 4 slices of your favorite bread (like Texas toast)

– 1 tablespoon butter, softened

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Optional toppings: pickles, onions, or jalapeños

Instructions

1.

2. 1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.

3. 2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, crumbled bacon, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 equal patties.

4. 3. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

5. 4. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and cover to melt.

6. 5. Meanwhile, butter one side of each slice of bread.

7. 6. Once the cheese has melted, assemble the melts by placing a patty on the unbuttered side of each slice of bread. Drizzle BBQ sauce on top, and add any optional toppings.

8. 7. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.

9. 8. Grill the sandwiches for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.

10. 9. Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve immediately.

Notes

– For extra flavor, try using a mixture of cheeses.

– You can also add sautéed onions or mushrooms for added taste.

– These can be made in the oven at 375°F for 15 minutes if you prefer.
