Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
4. Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, and basil; season with salt and pepper.
5. Simmer sauce for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Notes
