Ingredients
4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
1 tablespoon maple syrup
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic, rosemary, thyme, and maple syrup.
3. Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper.
4. Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the garlic herb butter mixture over them, making sure they are well coated.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
6. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to crisp the skin, if desired.
7. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving with lemon wedges.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the garlic herb butter mixture for a few hours or overnight before baking.
