Ingredients
4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a large oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Stir in the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika. Bring to a simmer.
5. Add the chicken thighs to the skillet, skin-side up, and spoon some of the sauce over them.
6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
7. Broil on high for an additional 2-3 minutes to crisp the skin, if desired.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken thighs in the garlic butter mixture for a few hours before cooking.
