These Festive Cranberry BBQ Meatballs are the perfect bite-sized treat to serve at your New Year’s celebration. Sweet, tangy, and oh-so-delicious!
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 large egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup cranberry sauce
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
3. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
4. In a separate bowl, mix together cranberry sauce, BBQ sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
5. Pour the sauce over the meatballs, ensuring they are well coated.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
These meatballs can be made ahead of time and kept warm in a slow cooker for easy serving.
Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
