Description

This Double BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with Onion Jam is a mouthwatering delight! Juicy beef patties topped with crispy bacon, melted cheese, and sweet onion jam, all nestled in a toasted bun. Perfect for BBQs or a hearty weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef

– 4 slices of bacon

– 4 slices of cheddar cheese

– 2 tbsp BBQ sauce

– 2 hamburger buns

– 1/2 cup onion jam

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Lettuce and tomato for garnish

Instructions

1.

2. 1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

3. 2. Form the ground beef into two equal-sized patties and season with salt and pepper.

4. 3. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.

5. 4. In the last minute of cooking, add the bacon to the grill to crisp up.

6. 5. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

7. 6. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill until golden brown.

8. 7. Assemble the burger: place the patty with cheese on the bottom bun, add two slices of bacon, a generous spoonful of onion jam, and top with lettuce and tomato.

9. 8. Finish with the top bun and serve hot.

Notes

– For extra flavor, marinate the beef patties in your favorite spices before grilling.

– You can substitute the onion jam with caramelized onions for a different taste.
