Ingredients
– 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
– 8 slices of bacon, chopped
– 1/2 cup maple syrup
– 1/4 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp smoked paprika
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Green onions, sliced for garnish
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. 2. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
3. 3. In a bowl, mix together the maple syrup, hot sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
4. 4. Add the chicken pieces to the skillet with the bacon drippings and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
