Crispy Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Popper Bites are the perfect appetizer for any gathering. These spicy and cheesy bites are wrapped in crispy bacon, making them irresistible for guests of all ages.
Ingredients
8 large jalapeños
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
16 slices of bacon
Optional: ranch dressing for dipping
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. 2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes for less heat.
3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
4. 4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
5. 5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if necessary.
6. 6. Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. 7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is bubbly.
8. 8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Serve with ranch dressing if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding chopped green onions or jalapeño slices to the cheese mixture.
You can also experiment with different types of cheese like pepper jack for an added kick.
