These Cranberry Orange Glazed Meatballs are the perfect festive appetizer for your holiday gatherings. Juicy meatballs are coated in a sweet and tangy cranberry-orange glaze that will delight your guests.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 egg
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup cranberry sauce
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
3. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
4. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.
5. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the glaze by combining cranberry sauce, orange juice, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and ground ginger in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is smooth and bubbly.
6. Once the meatballs are cooked, transfer them to the saucepan with the glaze and stir to coat them evenly.
7. Serve the glazed meatballs warm, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
Notes
These meatballs can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving. They also make a great addition to holiday potlucks!
