Description
These deliciously sweet and savory cranberry-glazed bacon-wrapped Brussels sprouts are a perfect holiday appetizer or side dish that everyone will love.
Ingredients
12 oz Brussels sprouts
6 slices bacon
1 cup cranberry sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow leaves.
3. Cut each slice of bacon in half and wrap each Brussels sprout with a half slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick.
4. Place the bacon-wrapped Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the Brussels sprouts are tender.
7. Remove from the oven and brush with cranberry sauce.
8. Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cranberry sauce.
These can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
