Description

This Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bake is an indulgent breakfast that combines the sweetness of cinnamon rolls with the classic comfort of French toast. Topped with a creamy cream cheese drizzle, it’s perfect for brunch gatherings or a cozy family breakfast.


Ingredients

– 2 cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

– 6 large eggs

– 1 cup milk

– 1 tsp vanilla extract

– 1 tsp ground cinnamon

– 1/2 tsp nutmeg

– Pinch of salt

– 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

– 1 cup powdered sugar

– 1-2 tbsp milk (for drizzle)


Instructions

2. – Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

3. – Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

4. – Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and place them in the baking dish.

5. – In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

6. – Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces, ensuring they are well coated.

7. – Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the egg is set.

8. – While the bake is cooking, prepare the cream cheese drizzle by mixing the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a bowl. Add enough milk to reach desired consistency.

9. – Once the bake is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.

10. – Drizzle the cream cheese mixture over the warm cinnamon roll bake before serving.

– For an extra touch, add some chopped pecans or walnuts before baking.
