Description

Indulge in the rich flavors of chocolate and pumpkin with these decadent Chocolate Pumpkin Swirl Cheesecake Bars. Perfect for fall gatherings or any dessert lover!


Ingredients

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup pumpkin puree

3/4 cup powdered sugar

3 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 tbsp cocoa powder

1/4 cup heavy cream


Instructions

2. 1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.

3. 2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.

4. 3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.

5. 4. Add the pumpkin puree, powdered sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined.

6. 5. In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate chips and heavy cream over low heat, stirring until smooth.

7. 6. Pour half of the pumpkin cheesecake mixture over the crust, then drizzle half of the melted chocolate mixture on top.

8. 7. Repeat the layers with the remaining pumpkin mixture and chocolate mixture. Use a knife to swirl the chocolate into the pumpkin.

9. 8. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set.

10. 9. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before slicing into bars.

For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt to the chocolate mixture.

These bars can be made a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
