These flavorful tacos are filled with spicy lime beef and topped with a fresh cilantro slaw, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a fun weekend gathering!
Ingredients
For the Beef:
– 1 lb ground beef
– 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 1 lime, juiced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– Salt and pepper to taste
For the Slaw:
– 2 cups shredded cabbage
– 1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
– 1/4 cup lime juice
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
For Serving:
– 8 small corn tortillas
– Lime wedges
Instructions
1. 1. In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned.
2. 2. Drain excess fat and add chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes until fully combined.
3. 3. In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss until well mixed.
4. 4. Warm the corn tortillas in a pan or microwave.
5. 5. Assemble the tacos by adding beef mixture to each tortilla and topping with fresh cilantro slaw.
6. 6. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add extra chili garlic sauce or sliced jalapeños.
You can also substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
