These delicious Cheesy Stuffed Mushroom Burgers are perfect for festive feasts! Juicy mushrooms stuffed with a creamy cheese filling, grilled to perfection, and served on a toasted bun.
Ingredients
8 large portobello mushrooms
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
4 burger buns
Lettuce, tomato, and your choice of condiments
Instructions
1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
2. Clean the portobello mushrooms and remove the stems.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and parsley.
4. Stuff each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, pressing it down gently.
5. Place the stuffed mushrooms on the grill, gill side up, and grill for about 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
7. Assemble the burgers by placing the stuffed mushrooms on the buns and adding lettuce, tomato, and condiments as desired.
Notes
For an extra kick, add some chopped jalapeños to the cheese mixture.
These burgers can be served with a side of sweet potato fries or a fresh salad.
