This Cajun Bourbon Pork Stack Crisp-Top combines the rich flavors of bourbon and Cajun spices to create a mouthwatering dish that is perfect for any occasion. The crispy topping adds a delightful texture to the juicy pork, making it a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

– 2 lbs pork shoulder, cut into cubes

– 1/2 cup bourbon

– 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

– 1 onion, diced

– 4 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 cup chicken broth

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs

– 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1.

2. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

3. 2. In a large bowl, combine the pork cubes with bourbon, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

4. 3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and garlic, and sauté until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.

5. 4. Add the marinated pork to the skillet and sear until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.

6. 5. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.

7. 6. Transfer the pork mixture to a baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs with grated parmesan cheese.

8. 7. Evenly sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the pork.

9. 8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

10. 9. Remove from oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
