Ingredients
For the Pizza Knots:
– 1 lb pizza dough
– 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
– 1/2 cup bourbon
– 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
– 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
– 1/4 cup butter, melted
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
– 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. 1. In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from heat and drain excess fat.
3. 2. In the same skillet, add bourbon and simmer for 5 minutes until reduced. Mix in the cooked bacon, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
4. 3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into strips (about 1 inch wide).
