Ingredients

Crust:

– 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

– ¼ cup granulated sugar

– ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

– ¼ teaspoon salt

Cheesecake Filling:

– 16 oz cream cheese, softened

– ¾ cup granulated sugar

– ¼ cup maple syrup

– 3 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– ½ cup crispy bacon, chopped

Topping:

– ¼ cup maple syrup

– ¼ cup crispy bacon, chopped

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.

2. 2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, melted butter, and salt until combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.

3. 3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the sugar and maple syrup, mixing until well combined.

4. 4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and chopped bacon.

5. 5. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust and spread it evenly.

6. 6. Drizzle some maple syrup over the top and swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.

7. 7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set and slightly jiggles.

8. 8. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

9. 9. Before serving, drizzle with more maple syrup and sprinkle with extra bacon.

Notes

For a fun twist, try adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top before serving for an extra flavor boost.

These bars can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
