Description

Ingredients

8 ounces elbow macaroni

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

3 cups milk

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. 2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3. 3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until bubbling.

4. 4. Gradually whisk in the milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the sauce thickens.

5. 5. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and smooth.

6. 6. Add the cooked macaroni and crumbled bacon to the cheese sauce and stir to combine.

7. 7. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
